RIKHI RAM TANPURAS

We have 4 tanpuras from Rikhi Ram ~ Sanjay Sharma in 4, 5, & 6 string layout. These are new, acquired in 2008 by Sitars Etc. and have been repolished and setup here with new Pyramid strings. Sanjay's tanpuras (they call them tamboori) are technically instrumental in size but feature jawari and specially made strings by Pyramid that allows them to play an octave lower such as a regular male tanpura. Made from aged mahogany and each with new Pyramid wound strings. Comes with a fiberglass case included in the price. This tanpura has been air shipped (as are all of our instruments) to preserve its quality.
